But here's where it gets interesting: SFO hasn't seen a new international airline since 2024, when South Korean Air Premia arrived. This new LOT route is a result of over eight years of dedicated work by SFO's Aviation Marketing & Development team, fulfilling a long-standing demand for direct flights to Central Europe. Currently, Copenhagen and Munich are the most easterly destinations in Europe accessible via nonstop flights from SFO. With LOT's new route, travelers now have an additional option to explore the vibrant city of Warsaw and its surroundings.
